Yoruba Dictionary

I realize that this is probably not the best way to start ranting but this is really one issue that dear to my heart: why is there no real good yoruba dictionary on the net. Please don't tell me to go and google because all that does is raise my hopes and then dash it cruelly. I once came across an open source attempt to sought out this issue called "oroede" and quite frankly I was excited. There's also nice work done by a couple of folks at University of Southern Georgia (or something like that) and at http://www.yorubadictionary.com/index.html.

My main beef with the whole issue is that there are about 35 million yoruba speaking people world wide and yet there isnt a valid yoruba dictionary to be proud of. Is it that Yoruba a dying language or the Yoruba folks are just lazy. For me the onus rests on programmers and tech dudes to get their acts straight. In any case, we are all to blame, I guess, so I rest my case!
